Facilities
  • Fishing water

Alseda-Skede Fishing Area offers fishing in Aspö damm and Brunnshultadammen, two lakes with species-rich fish fauna, for instance big pike and perch. Pike weighing over ten kilos (22 pound) have been caught and occasionally pike-perch are also caught. For those who prefer angling with a float there are different species of cyprinids such as chub, roach, bream, crucian carp, tench and rudd.Since brown trout occur in Emån there is a chance of catching trout in the lake as well. Brown trout weighing around two kilos (4,4 pound) have been caught in the lake although they usually don’t weigh more than half a kilo (1,1 pound). There is an abundance of roach in the lake. Since predatorial fish species, such as pike and perch feed on roach there is good growth among these species. The most common method of fishing is casting with lures but angling with a float, trolling and ice fishing also works well.Fish speciesPike, perch, brown trout, bleak, bream, chub, pike-perch, burbot, roach, crucian carp, rudd and tench.
