Stora and lilla Bellen (Bellensjöarna)
are found in the Småland highlands near Eksjö. Fine fishing and many fine nature experiences in a very beautiful lake are offered here. The varied nature welcomes you when you row, paddle or when you want to fish.
The lake is a moderately nutritious clear water lake with an area of 7 km2 (approx. 700 ha). The greatest depth is 20 meters and the average depth is 6.2 meters in Stora Bellen.
The lake is 205 m above sea level.
In the lake there are pike, perch, roach, tench, whitefish, whitefish, bream, bream, bream, yarrow and crayfish. The largest documented fish are pike of 10 kg plus and perch of over 1 kg. The Bellen lakes hold good stocks of perch and the pike fishing can be very good. Common methods are angling, spinning, pimp.
