**Lake Holmes

Holmesjön is undoubtedly one of the region's most beautiful lakes. There are several islands here and the surroundings are very similar to the Norrland hinterland below the mountain forest areas. Grayling have previously been planted, but there are probably none left. However, smaller trout are regularly stocked for growth, and trout over 3 kg have been caught. The shy, large trout come in towards the shores at night. Holmesjön also has a rich population of perch.

Surface area: 41 ha.

Holmesjön belongs to the Yellow Card, a fishing card that covers 60 different lakes and rivers in the Gothenburg area.
