About 8 km east of Gränna is the lake Ören.
The ear is located in a burial sink and has an area of about 920 hectares and has a largest depth of 36.8 meters. The depth of sight in the lake is large and is 5.1 meters. The lake is classified as a nutrient-poor to moderately nutritious lake.
The ear is connected to the Bunn lakes (South, Between and North Lake of Bunn) and the Lower and Upper Lake Kvarnsjön with a canal system which makes the whole area very interesting for sport fishermen, canoece and boat riders. The beaches of the island are usually mountainous and rocky, but in the northern part of the lake there are sand and mud beaches. Plant, fish and wildlife are very polite. There are 16 different fish varieties in the lake, if you are lucky, you can also see exterior and wild boar. There are also breeding storms around the lake. Among plants found in and around the lake you can name thread, bladder, brownstarr, grovnate and slookstarr.
