Sävsjöortens fvof

Beautifully located just southeast of Sävsjö, Eksjöhovgårdssjön, a nice lake of about 60ha.

Perch fishing and pike fishing can sometimes be really good. Perch per kilo occur from time to time in the catches.

The setting around the lake is magnificent, with Eksjöhovgård's castle ruins reminiscent of times gone by. The farm was built on the island in the north as early as the 15th century and was owned by Stureätten between the 15th and 17th centuries. A two meter wide walkway runs beautifully around the entire lake.
