Sportfiskekortet, Lanarestjärt

Lanarestjärt belongs to Sportfiskekortet, a fishing license that covers about 40 lakes in the Stockholm region. The fishing license is valid throughout the lake. Lake area: 4 hectares.

Description:

Lanarestjärt is a small forest lake with a lot of vegetation. Depending on variations in the perch population, there may be few large or many small perch in the lake in some years. The variations go in cycles every couple of years and Lanarestjärt is a good lake to start the perch season on. Carp were stocked in Lanarestjärt in the 90s where some carp showed record growth, for example one individual grew from under a kilogram to 3.6 kg in 18 months. In modern times, few, if any, have given the lake's carp fishery a fair chance. Is this where the next carp record could come from?

Fishing rules:

Angling/ice fishing prohibited. Otherwise see general regulations.

Accessibility:

Difficult to access due to marshland around the shoreline.

Bus LT702 or 788 from Södertälje.
