The scope of the angling license:
Lillsjön Bromma belongs to the Sport Fishing License, a fishing license that covers about 40 lakes in the Stockholm region. The entire lake is included in the fishing license. The lake area: 10.7 ha.
Description:
Lillsjön is a good lake for whitefish fishing. A rice vase is built in the western part of the lake. The water quality is too poor in the lake for swimming. The shallow lake is an important spawning and nursery area for many fish species in nearby parts of Lake Mälaren.
Fishing rules:
PLEASE NOTE: In Lillsjön there is a total fishing ban from May 15 to June 15. This is to protect spawning and roe guarding pikeperch in the lake. Otherwise see general regulations. During spring and early summer, fishing supervision is intensified in Lillsjön and in the canal out to Lake Mälaren to protect all spawning fish species. Motorboats are prohibited in the lake.
Accessibility:
Piers are available for fishing. There are also a few places to fish from land.
Public transportation:
The subway's green line, exit Abrahamsberg station. Buses also run from Brommaplan, Alvik and from Solna.
