The scope of the angling license:

Lilla Lanaren belongs to the Sport Fishing License, a fishing license that covers about 40 lakes in the Stockholm region.the entire lake is included in the fishing license.the lake's area: 5 hectares

Description:

In Mörtsjön, in addition to fishing for the most common lake species, a very good sport fishing for coarse tench and carp is offered. Carp have been planted in the lake in several rounds and the earliest releases date from the early 90s. Mörtsjön is currently one of the lakes in the Stockholm region where most large carp are landed and fish over 15 kg are caught annually. The record for carp is just over 20 kg. Several tench have been caught with a weight over 3 kg. Many carp anglers spend several days around the lake. Remember to take your rubbish home with you and show consideration for those who live in the area and passers-by.

NOTE! New fishing rule: only one tench up to 45 cm per fishing license per day may be kept. Sutures over 45 cm must be released unharmed.

In Mörtsjön, fishing is also prohibited inside the blue plastic screen located in the southeastern part of the lake. All carp caught must be returned to the lake. It is absolutely forbidden to move fish to or from the lake!
