Sportfiskekortet, Öran

Öran is located in Hanveden in the southern part of the municipality and is shared between Haninge and Huddinge municipalities. Öran is a large, nutrient-poor forest lake.

Public transportation:

Commuter train to Huddinge. Change to bus towards Länna handelsplats, get off at Bruket. Walk about 1500 meters to the parking lot and Paradisets rest cabin (open Saturday-Sunday).

Fishing tips:

The fish in Öran contain high levels of mercury. As the fish in the lake are not edible, fishing should be carried out so that the fish can be released unharmed.

Öran belongs to the Sportfiskekortet, a fishing license that covers about 40 different lakes and streams in the Stockholm area.
