The scope of the angling license:

Sicklasjön belongs to the Sport Fishing License, a fishing license that covers about 40 lakes in the Stockholm region. Parts of the lake are included in the fishing license. See map for more detailed information. Lake area: 15 hectares.

Description:

Be aware that there can be a lot of aquatic vegetation during the summer months in Sicklasjön, such as water lilies and sedges. When fishing in dense vegetation, it is important to adapt the equipment accordingly by using a coarser equipment and having a tactic adapted to the situation such as fishing with vegetation-protected lures. The lake is partly within the Nacka nature reserve. A rice vase is built in the southern part of the lake, at Lilla Sickla.
