Scope of the fishing license:
The fishing stretch is 20 km long up to the municipal border with Lerum.
Fishing rules:
Fishing in the salmon ladders is not allowed and all fishing is prohibited in Lärjeån during the period 1/10-31/3. Minimum size for salmon and trout is 45 cm. Otherwise, see Fishing rules in the Yellow Card guide.
Description:
Lärjeån is located in northeast Gothenburg and flows into the Göta River. Sea trout and salmon migrate up every year, but there is also a stock of stationary trout. There are several good fishing spots, the most popular of which are at Eriksbo, Lärjeholm and the mouth of the Göta River. Please note that fishing is prohibited in all fishways within the Yellow Card waters.
Lärjeån belongs to the Yellow Card, a fishing license that covers 60 different lakes and rivers in the Gothenburg area.
