Scope of the fishing license:
The fishing area is the lower part of the Gullbergsån and Säveån rivers at the mouth of the Göta River up to Gamlestadsbro. Above the bridge you can buy a fishing license for Sävedalsvattnet to fish for salmon or the large-grown perch that is sometimes caught there, but this is not included in the Yellow Card.
Fishing rules:
Minimum size for salmon and trout is 45 cm. Fishing season for trout and salmon is 1/4-30/9. Otherwise, see Fishing rules in the Yellow Card guide.
Description:
The area is a good fishing spot, especially at the outflow of the Göta River and at Gullbergsån. Trout and the occasional salmon also pass the stretch on their way to the spawning grounds.
